Last weekend Bristol Airport welcomed Bristol bears and La Rochelle rugby teams.
Bristol bears travelled to the airport on Saturday, which they were flying on a Ryanair Boeing 737-8AS (EI-DPY) .The team flew to Bordeaux ahead of the game the next day against Bordeaux Begles. The score was 36-17 to Bordeaux Begles.
La Rochelle flew to Bristol Airport on Thursday late afternoon last week. To play against Gloucester rugby team the next day which the score was 16-27 to La Rochelle. The team flew on an Iberia Air Nostrum CRJ-200 (EC-GZA). The aircraft then departed Bristol airport at 1:30am on Saturday morning which is crazy to see a plane depart at this time.
