Following the recent news that SunExpress would be launching flights to Bristol Airport for Summer 2023, the airline has announced details of the flights and destination. SunExpress will operate flights from Antalya to Bristol Airport on Wednesday and Sunday from March 2023, increasing to three times a week from May 2023 as the summer season hots up.
The flight details are as follows:
- XQ584 AYT 15:00-17:35 BRS (Wed & Sun)
- XQ585 BRS 18:30-00:55+1 AYT (Wed & Sun)
Flights are expected to be operated by SunExpress Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the airline does have 737 Max aircraft in the fleet so at the time of writing we are unsure on the aircraft choice.
SunExpress is a Turkish airline based in Antalya. It operates from hubs at Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) and Antalya Airport (AYT). The carrier is jointly owned by Turkish Airlines (TK) and Lufthansa (LH). SunExpress flies to more than 100 destinations, including about 20 cities across Turkey. International flights are available to countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The airline has a fleet of 71 aircraft: Three Airbus A330-200, five Boeing 737-700, three Boeing 737-900ER and 60 Boeing 737-800. Each plane is configured with a single Economy Class cabin.
