Balkan Holidays, also known as BH Air, have removed their Bristol to Burgas route from sale for Summer 2024. The holiday company and airline have operated the route for a number of years but have removed the route from sale including London Stansted for Summer 2024.
Competition on the route has increased recently with both Jet2 and TUI operating the route a few times a week, BH Air would normally operate the route on a Saturday morning and in high season sometimes a weekday flight.
From our own research it looks like BH Air will be operating flights to Burgas from smaller and less competitive airports like Newquay, Southend and Southampton where there is little or no competition from other airlines.
BH Air is a Bulgarian airline with its main base in Sofia, the airline provides charter flights to tour operators in the UK and other European countries. As well as a main base in Sofia the airline has other bases in Burgas, Varna and Plovdiv. With a fleet size of three Airbus A320 aircraft the airline commenced operations in January 2002.
