On Wednesday 27th July 2022 the first Spotters Evening at Bristol Airport took place, this was the first of its kind and the first aviation event at the airport since Covid-19 helping to raise £200 for charity.
20 attendees visited and made use of the panoramic views from the roof terrace of the Bristol Airport administration building, also known as Lulsgate House. Many of the attendees commented “wow” when they first saw the view as well as commenting on what a great view it was.
Each attendee donated £10 entry fee raising a total of £200 for Teenage Cancer Trust, the airport charity of the year.
Simon Fewkes, director of Fresh Aviation commented “It was great to organise another event at Bristol Airport and we are running this first spotters evening as a trial to see what people think of the facilities, the view and then obtain feedback on timings, location and day to potentially run further events.”
We would like to thank Bristol Airport for the opportunity in helping organise this event and we look forward to future events.
