Bristol Airport is now connected to Albania’s capital Tirana thanks to a new twice a week service commencing April 2nd.
Albania offers stunning landscapes and is rich in history. It was a Stalinist state after World War 2 and only started to introduce open market economy and reforms in 1990. It is seen as an up and coming holiday destination for 2024 and the country is said to offer something for everyone.
A short 20 minute cab from the city allows visitors to ride the famous Dajti Express Cable Car, a gentle 15 minute journey flying over the national park. The ascent offers views of treetops, lakes and farmhouses and visitors reaching the top can enjoy lunch with stunning views.
Ryanair’s flights operate on Tuesday and Saturdays and will be operated by their Boeing 737 fleet, flight schedules are as follows:
- RK6919 BRS 07:30am – 11:40am TIA (Tue)
- RK6919 BRS 18:00pm – 22:10pm TIA (Sat)
- RK6920 TIA 12:05pm – 14:15pm BRS (Tue)
- RK6920 TIA 22:35pm – 00:45pm+1 BRS (Sat)
