On Wednesday 5th July 2023, Fresh Aviation in collaboration with Bristol Airport held a second spotters evening on the viewing terrace of the administration building. This is the second event so far this year with 50 guests attending of all ages for a two hour session to watch aircraft arrivals and departures.
This event was the largest number of people at the spotters event to date with previous events welcoming 25 guests each.
All proceeds from the entrance fee were donated to the airport charity of the year, this year being British Heart Foundation. We donated £341.80 to the charity shortly after the event https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/bristolairport
Live streamer “Planecaster” was in attendance and streamed the flight operations, you can watch this back on the video below:
Bristol Airport commented “Yesterday was another successful evening as welcomed over 50 members of the Bristol Airport Spotting community to our administration building to capture some fantastic footage of the arriving and departing aircraft. The event was well attended and raised money for the Airport’s charity of the year, British Heart Foundation – Heart of Bristol. A special thank you to the Airside Operations team who popped up to the roof terrace after their shift to speak to the Plane Spotters and to take part in a Q & A session.”
We would like to thank Bristol Airport for their help and support with these events. Further events will be announced in due course.
