Summer 2022 at Bristol Airport will see the return of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner operated by TUI Airways, the first flight will depart on Monday 28th March to Cancun, Mexico.
Following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, and more recently lifting of the need for masks on flights and passenger locator forms, flights from Bristol Airport look to be improving and increasing back to pre-Covid levels. The restarting of flights using the Dreamliner to Cancun, and later this year to Orlando (Melbourne) from 4th May 2022 is a positive sign for travel from Bristol Airport.
There are also reports, and flights on sale from Bristol Airport to destinations such as Montego Bay (Jamaica) and Bridgetown (Barbados) later this year and into 2023.
At the time of writing we are unsure if the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be used on some of the high demand short haul routes to Cyprus, Canary Islands and Spain. Before the pandemic the aircraft was scheduled to operate to Crete, Palma and Tenerife. We will update once we know more.
