Following research and various online sources TUI Airways has removed its long haul operations from Bristol Airport for Summer 2024 and 2025. TUI are consolidating its UK based long haul operations to 5 main UK airports, these include: Birmingham, Gatwick, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle.
Both Bristol Airport and Edinburgh Airport will lose their regular long haul flights to Cancun and Orlando. At the time of writing we are unsure of the reasons other than consolidating, it could be down to low passenger numbers or aircraft maintenance or issues.
Currently the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is operating Summer seasonal routes from Bristol Airport to Cancun and Orlando for Summer 2023, flights can be booked at https://www.tui.co.uk/flight/
